This month has been a rather exciting month in the Davis household. It started with the release of a children's game that my daughter (Sarah) and my son (Andrew) worked on last summer. Sarah did all the artwork and Andrew did the voices. Created by Ponder Games, it is now available to play online at BigFishGames.com. I downloaded the game and played it for one hour. One hour of play time is free, after that you have to buy it! I was too enthralled with my daughter's artwork and the periodic sound of my son's voice to get through much of the game, but from what I could tell - it would be fun for someone who likes puzzle games. Anyway, it was kind of a hoot to play it, knowing that my kids were involved in its creation.

The other exciting news is that Sarah was accepted for the animation program at Sheridan. Most of the animators from Disney have come out of this school, so needless to say she is over the moon. Here is a picture she drew of herself the day she found out.

That takes us to High Tea, which Sarah convinced her friends from Sheridan (she is currently there taking an Arts Fundamental Course), to participate in one afternoon at a rather fancy teashop. According to Sarah, they were the only ones in the place under 60! Here is her depiction of that day.

Obviously, this was a day for me to showcase my daughter. But honestly, if you had a blog and you were proud of your kid, wouldn't you do the same thing?
